Kingdom Stories: episode 2 “When Families Fall, Nations Follow”

Parable: The House with No Roof

“There once was a grand house on a hill called Nation. It had tall walls, decorated gates, and a garden of laws. But one day, a small crack appeared in the roof the Family Room. The father left to chase wealth. The mother became weary. The children fought over crumbs of love. Rain began to pour in. First, the roof caved in. Then, the walls began to crumble. Outsiders blamed the government, the economy, the schools. But no one remembered that the fall began in the room that held it all together. A wise builder once said: “If the family falls, the foundation fails. And when the foundation fails, the nation will not stand.”

Expose: The Global Crisis of Family Breakdown

The greatest problem of world is family, the foundation of every Nation is family, and the foundation family is man as individual. You don’t have to be an expert, professional to see that we have no longer family, as it was created to be, family is like a camp of training without trainers. Fathers left their houses and mothers became weary. The results:

  • Fatherlessness & Divorce: there is increase of them, linked to poverty, crime, poor academic performance, drug abuse.
  • Rising single-parent households: increase of single parents linked to emotional instability in children and societal instability, those children are the future parents, we are killing our nations and world
  • Normalization of broken homes in media, law, and even religious institutions
  • Social decay trends:
    • Juvenile delinquency and gang violence rise in areas with broken families
    • Suicide, depression, and identity confusion escalate when love and structure are missing
    • Government overreach replaces parental roles, creating dependency and dysfunction

Kingdom Truth: The family is the first government, first school, and first church and first business of Creator. Imagine the government without leaders, school without teachers, church without pastors, and business without owner and managers. This truth is the key of our family.
Psalm 11:3“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”, I call every man to answer this question with heart, what we have to do in this situation where family is in danger. I hope this story goes to open the eyes about what we are facing, what fathers have to do? What mothers have to do? Where children should go? What is the answer to the family when the foundations are destroyed?
Genesis 18:19 – God chose Abraham For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”Men, fathers I want you to read this verse careful, to understand your position in family, and turn back to your function. What God was saying, He has chosen every man to direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, so that the LORD will bring about what he has promised him. I believe this is why family has problems and the promises never fulfilled.

Kingdom Revelation

  • Families were God’s original nation (Genesis 1:28; Genesis 2:24)
  • Marriage is a covenant, not a contract. Breaking it unleashes covenantal disorder.
  • Every broken home multiplies broken hearts → broken communities → broken systems.
  • Restoring nations begins not in parliaments, but in fathers’ hearts returning to children (Malachi 4:6)

Real-Life Testimony: “I Grew Up in the Fallout”

“My father left when I was 10. I told myself I was fine. I wore success like a mask, good grades, sports, leadership. But inside, I was starving for direction and identity. By 17, I had joined a gang not for crime, but for family. I needed someone to tell me who I was. I needed structure. I needed protection. Years later, after prison, I found healing through a man who mentored me like a father. That’s when I realized, I wasn’t a bad kid. I was just a broken son.”

Research Reference: The Impact of Fatherlessness on Society

Source: U.S. Department of Justice / National Fatherhood Initiative

  • 85% of youth in prison come from fatherless homes
  • 63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes
  • 90% of homeless/runaway children are from fatherless homes
  • Children from broken families are twice as likely to drop out of school, abuse substances, and end up in poverty

Similar patterns are observed globally wherever the family falls, violence, poverty, and social breakdown rise.

Reflection Questions

  1. In what ways have I seen broken families affect my community or nation?
  2. Have I tolerated or normalized the destruction of family in my thinking?
  3. What can I do today to honor and restore the value of family?
  4. What would a healed family culture look like in my country?
